Da`wah: The Basis for Belief
Did you know that there are two deeds coming even before belief in God?
You are the best nation that has been raised up for mankind. You enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency; and ye believe in Allah. (Aal-`Imran 3:110)
You see? After carrying out these actions comes the belief in Allah.
How did God subjugate these two deeds to the belief in Him? What could this mean?
What’s more, we, Muslims, are granted that honor of ‘the best nation ever’ on the basis of our carrying out the duty of calling humankind to righteousness and prohibiting evil and vice among them.
From understanding the equation between these two deeds; to call the people to do good deeds and forbid them to do bad deeds, and the belief in Allah comes the obligation and responsibility towards da`wah, and comes the status of da`wah as well.
This is the mission of those who believe in God.
